MEET THE TEAM
Paul has been leading recruitment teams for over 20 years as both an external agency recruiter for companies throughout the UK and as head of an internal acquisition team within the world’s largest networked marketing agency.
Originally from a Sales background, Paul was able to harness the sales skills he was taught within the recruitment environment and was soon working in partnership with the leading marketing agencies at the birth of the digital age in the mid 90’s. This success led to him managing a team of 10 consultants all responsible for delivering tailored recruiting solutions within the newly forming vertical markets of the agency world.
Over the next few years Paul was responsible for establishing digital divisions within some of the more traditional IT recruitment agencies before working for a number of years away from London with a former colleague at a small agency focussing on working exclusively for a select group of multinational media and digital business’s.
Relocation to the North East saw Paul take on the task of remotely heading up talent acquisition with the WPP Group where he successfully and single handily recruited across all of Europe and was instrumental in building teams for many Global accounts within their London office.
After 6 years of remote work and frequent travel to London, Paul formed Bright in his adopted home with the aim to provide best in class recruitment solutions within multiple sectors. Retained onsite, and remote campaigns for Global companies have been successfully fulfilled and many strong business relationships have been established and now Bright is the only name a number business’s will turn to when they need on the ground, no nonsense recruitment support.

After spending over 20 years in corporate environments, Jim began consulting with the vision of supporting organisations and individuals to achieve their goals of business and personal growth, as well as leadership excellence.
Jim started his career in business development, gaining a real world understanding of the daily drive and perseverance required to deliver success. He used his practical experience to design innovative sales training programs for sales teams throughout the UK and Ireland.
As his career progressed Jim took on a variety of different operational and strategic roles ranging from; Head of Commercial Marketing to European Strategy Director, as well as various general management and Managing Director appointments.
In 2012, Jim appeared in the 'Accountancy Age Financial Power List' Top 30. In the following year, 2013, he was voted the 6th most influential person in UK finance, as he rebuilt the Accountants Division within The Sage Group Plc, to deliver against challenging market dynamics.
Ultimately, Jim went on to take on senior leadership responsibilities as Global Vice President, within the The Sage Group, which was the only technology company in the FTSE100.
Jim now owns and runs a number of businesses, some of which have gone on to win recognition with National Awards from industry bodies in 2019.
He continues to work with corporate, mid-size and small businesses across various sectors including; technology, energy, leisure, housing and investors to help; define their strategy and vision, drive their commercial execution and inspire and educate their leadership communities to deliver results.

Business Development Manager - Training
Paula is an experienced account director with 20 years’ working with clients across a variety of industries and sectors. Throughout her career she has managed, developed and grown sales and account management teams specialising in client growth and customer experience.
In her most recent role she has worked as a consultant and advisor to one of the North East’s leading Estate Agencies and is now focusing her boundless energy into spearheading the continued growth of our training division.
Training Quality Assurance Manager
Nicola has been actively assessing NCFE Cache and other qualification programs for the past 12 years and has supported 100's of learners to achieve their qualification. She has a passion for educating and for assisting people to develop and grow.
Nicola has over 20 years experience in health & social care, including extensive experience in learning disabilities and elderly care.
Having been a registered care manager twice in her career, she has a wealth of practical knowledge, skills and experience.
